The Heritage India Festival is the greater Washington metropolitan area's premier South Asian cultural, arts and commerce festival. Come enjoy tremendous shopping, delicious cuisine from the area's top South Asian restaurants and more, all under one roof. Experience the D.C. area's largest and longest-running festival Mother's Day Weekend: May 13-14, 2023!

For 21 years, Rushhi Entertainment's award-winning Heritage India Festival series has featured the best of South Asia – highlighting the culture, cuisine, commerce and entertainment of India. The festival, held twice a year, draws thousands of South Asian Americans to experience and revel in the colors of the subcontinent, all at a convenient and easily-accessible location.

The spring festival is the perfect way to spend the Mother's Day weekend and enjoy the vibrant colors, fragrances, sounds and delicacies of one of the Indian subcontinent. Featured attractions for 2023's spring festival include two full days of shopping from over 300 vendors, exciting children's activities, sumptuous cuisine, desserts and beverages from all parts of South Asia and much more!

The largest South Asian bazaar, all under one roof, now featuring over 275 vendors for every kind of South Asian shopping:

Special cuisine from all over India, including:

- South Indian curries, Gujarati Farsan, Maharashtran delicacies

- Indian sweets, sugar cane juice, masala chai/coffee, kulfi, ice cream

- Street foods, including kabobs, papri/samosa chaat, bhel puri, mirchi bhajias, Chicken 65, bondas, idlis, vadas and more!

Tickets for the 2023 Heritage India Festival are $5 per person per day, with children 5 and below admitted free. Due to COVID-19 protocols, tickets will only be available at the door, and not sold online prior to the event.
