Tuesday – March 21st, 2023

8:00am: Youth Horse Show – Judged Events. Pictures taken after the show.
8:00am: Breeding Swine may begin arriving
1:00pm: Youth Project Show Set Up Tables
4:00pm: Breeding Swine must be on the grounds
5:00pm: Breeding Swine Show. Showmanship following show. Pictures taken after the show.
12:00am: Breeding Swine which are not entered in the Market Swine Show must be off grounds.

Wednesday – March 22nd, 2023

7:00am: Market Swine, Breeding Beef, Steers, Market Lambs, Breeding Ewes, Market Goats, Breeding Goats, Breeding Poultry, Game Birds, Breeding Rabbits, Youth Project Show non-food entries, and Shop Projects and out of county projects begin arriving.
8:00am: Youth Project Show non-food entries begin to arrive at the Senior Citizen Building.
9:00am: Breeding Rabbits and Market Swine MUST be on grounds
10:00am: Market Swine weight-in begins. Breeding Rabbit Show and Showmanship. Pictures taken after the show.
12:00pm: Shop Projects, Market Lambs, Breeding Lambs, Market Goats, and Breeding Goats MUST be on the grounds
1:00pm: Market Swine weigh-in ends
1:30pm: Market Goat and Market Lamb weigh-in begins
2:00pm: Shop Project Judging. Pictures taken after the show.
3:00pm: Market Goat and Market Lamb weigh-in ends
5:00pm: Breeding Beef, Steers, Breeding Poultry, and Game Birds MUST be on the grounds. All non-placing Breeding Rabbits must be removed from the grounds.
6:00pm: Market Steer weigh-in begins,
4:00pm: Youth Project Show Non-Food Entries MUST be in the building with tags attached. NO EXCEPTIONS! REOPEN ON FRIDAY.
6:00pm: Commercial Heifer Test and Interviews begin
7:30pm: Senior Recognition-East Side of the Coliseum

Thursday – March 23rd, 2023

7:00am: Commercial Heifers at Athens Commission Company
7:00am: Youth Project Show food entries begin to arrive. Food items only will be set up in the rifle building.
8:00am: Market Goat Show -Market Goat Showmanship following Market Goat Show. Breeding Goat Show following Market Goat Show. Breeding Goat Showmanship following Breeding Goat Show. Breeding Ewe Show following Breeding Goat Showmanship. Lamb Showmanship
following Breeding Ewe Show. Market Lamb Show following Lamb Showmanship. Pictures taken after each show.
8:00am: Market Fryers may begin arriving Commercial Heifers- Must be at Athens Commission Company. Market Fryers must be on the grounds
9:00am: All food entries must be in the building, signed in, recipes and tags attached. All doors close. NO EXCEPTIONS!
9:30am: Youth Project Show Judging begins for food items only.
11:00am: Non Food Judging Begins.
10:30am: Marker Fryer Show
12:00 noon: Commercial Heifers to be judged
1:00-3pm: Pick up food entries at the rifle building. Any items left will be donated to a non-profit.
3:00pm: Market Swine Showmanship
5:00pm: Market Swine Show. Pictures taken of all placing animals after each division.

Friday – March 24th, 2023

6:00am: Shop projects may be released
7:00am: Broilers may begin arriving, Feeding Records Books are due in the office.
8:00am: Doors open for project show exhibit. See Buckle winners.
8:00am: Broilers must be on the grounds Shop projects to be removed must be gone from show arena
9:00am: Broiler Show. Pictures taken after the show. Breeding Poultry and Game Bird Show following the Broiler Show. Pictures taken after the show.
12:00pm: Breeding Beef Show. Pictures taken after the show. Breeding Beef Showmanship after Breeding Beef Show, Begin picking up Youth Project entries that will Not be in the auction.
12:00pm: Start picking up non-auction items.
1:00pm: Commercial Heifers Sale at Athens Commission Company
3:00pm: Youth Project Show Exhibit will Close
4:00pm: Herdsman Awards to be announced
6:00pm: Youth Project Show Auction Begins
7:00pm: Announce Scholarship winners and the Sonny Pickens Award Market Steer Show. Pictures taken after the show. Market Steer Showmanship following Market Steer Show.

Saturday – March 25th, 2023

8:30am: Clover Kids Livestock Show
Deadline for Livestock Judging Contest Entries
9:00am: Livestock Judging Contest
11:30am: Buyers Luncheon in the Coliseum
12:30pm: Presentation of awards: Catalog Dedication, Chris Sims, Woodrow Walker, Gate Sponsors, ATV Raffle
1:00pm: Premium Auction
