Ghost Lake Haunted Attraction 2023

Arts and Entertainment

October 11, 2023

From: Ghost Lake

Attractions:

Blood Moon Meat Market

Tons of haunted places have slaughterhouses. They’ve been a staple for a very long time. The Blood Moon Meat Market is a dangerous place like you’ve never seen before. It doesn’t even fit into the same category as a slaughterhouse. You won’t just be a visitor walking through an attraction. Not here. You will be
auctioned off, corralled, and processed.

Annie Dickoldoo and her inbred family who run the Meat Market don’t play nice. It’s a cattle drive and you’re not the cowboys. The cannibals….hmmmmm...family there are like no one you’ve ever had the displeasure to run into. They are a filthy, nasty brood of demented non-vegans. We can’t wait to have our old friends for dinner!

Clown Town Reborn

Once upon a time, a gaggle of clowns were set free through Kiddieland wielding chainsaws. They had no boundaries, no fences, no rules. Many of us worried about the body count this would wrack up, or the therapy sessions that would no doubt follow this insanity. But alas….FANS….WENT….WILD!!!!! Sure, there was terror. Yes there was blood-curdling screams. Of course there were victims. I mean, did you read the part about CLOWNS with CHAINSAWS?

It has been far too long, and this reign of horror has become stories whispered around campfires to scare the new generation. So it is time. They have been waiting in the shadows, patiently. And Kiddieland may be a shell of what it once was, but that will only set the stage for the depraved nightmare that is about to be unleashed once the saws start to rev and your feet hit the asphalt. We don’t recommend running; it will only fuel their prey drive. If you have a severe fear of clowns, you may want to sit this one out.

Death Row

Visiting hours are open and your name is on the list. The people you are about to see are not armed robbers or even drug dealers. You are about to stand face to face with a bloodthirsty killer, actually many bloodthirsty killers. Somewhere, deep in the bowels of the prison lies a real, live cannibal.

This level of fear is definitely not for the faint of heart. It’s close quarters here at Death Row, and the inmates are just itching to break out. Although we’ve hired the best prison guards in the state, will they be man enough to protect you from pure evil? We’re about to find out!

Down The Rabbit Hole

This is one Looking Glass that you may not want to look through. The reflection on the other side is something that will make your nightmares feel tame. And nothing here is as it seems. Up is down, left is right, so which way is out? If you have been a fan of Ghost Lake for the past 16 years, you may have come into contact with one of our more colorful characters. This long-eared freak carries a bloody ax and isn’t afraid to use it.

In this level, he won’t be alone.

Don’t expect a tea party, or a friendly cat in a tree. If Alice fell down this rabbit hole, she would have to do more than drink and eat her way out. She would have to pray and run like hell and so will you. Pay attention…it’s easy to get lost. We don’t recommend asking for directions, at least not from the fiends you will meet along the way. They do NOT have your best interest at heart. Hopefully you will find the exit before the executions begin!

Phobia

Arachnophobia—Abnormal or pathological fear of spiders.

Ophidiophobia—Fear of snakes.

Pupaphobia—Fear of puppets and ventriloquist dummies.

Apiphobia—Fear of being stung by angry bees

Claustrophobia—Fear of confined spaces.

There are literally thousands and thousands of phobias. The fear of darkness, fear of small spaces, fear of clowns, fear of balloons....The list goes on and on. You will be challenged at Ghost Lake to face your fears. Other levels may have one or two, but Phobia has them all!

This is the true test of courage. Are you afraid of snakes? Come and touch a live one! Spiders? Don’t worry...they won’t bite....much. And if you lose the friends you came with, don’t worry. Your new friends in Phobia will keep you company. Forever!! Enjoy. I know we will.

St.Lucien's House of Evil

In 1866, the order of Saint Lucien was struggling to provide for the priests and nuns who lived there. They were forced to open their doors to what was then termed "lunatics." Not only did they attempt to treat mentally disturbed guests, they were also tasked with the criminally insane as well as the worst cases of human depravity the state of Pennsylvania has ever seen.

The methods to treat patients were torture at best. The whole house was consumed with an evil that not even the resident clergy could combat. The survivors quickly abandoned their posts to save their souls. The neighbors always thought this house of evil sat dormant and abandoned. The Multiverse of Fear is opening St. Lucien's House of Evil for the first time in two hundred years. You, our cherished guests, will be the first to grace these unholy doors. We can't promise you will exit the house intact...or at all. Welcome to St. Lucien's. All you have to lose is everything.

The Devil's Den

Where Highway to Hell takes on a Whole New Meaning

You and your most trusted compadre will be very close (and that's probably a good thing) as your ride vehicle departs the station. Elbow to elbow you'll plunge down a hill into a quirky maze of twists and turns. It's not your typical dark ride...no not in the Devil's Den. It's a ride from hell and you're at the mercy of the Devil himself!

The Devil's Playground

The Multiverse of Fear is highly unpredictable. In this all new level, all of your senses will be tested to their breaking point. The smell of burning flesh won't calm your anxiety as you wonder what is burning and if you're next. "Things" WILL touch you. Your eyes WILL deceive you. Your feet WILL fail you. With your heart rate skyrocketing, your breathing rapid, and your anxiety at its peak, you'll pray for the exit. But the Devil and his minions control your fate. You can pray. We suggest it. There's no guarantee your prayers will be answered.

Warning: This level is a combination funhouse and haunt. We do not recommend it for small children, pregnant women, folks with a heart condition, seizure disorder, or physical disability.

The Hollow

There are hidden areas all over Ghost Lake, but none compare to The Hollow. If you can even find its hidden location, only the brave among you should enter...oh and the fastest. This is one area that will snake you deep into the woods. What’s out in those woods won’t make itself known to you. You may hear a branch break, feel a cool breath on the back of your neck, and possibly catch a glimpse of a silhouette in the distance.  If you enter THEIR home, you won’t be at the top of the food chain anymore. The moment you take your first step onto the wooden bridge, you become the hunted. If you decide to take the chance, we suggest you don’t look down over the bridge. At that point you are suspended high into the air, at the mercy of The Hollow. And that’s just the beginning!
