4:00pm: 4-H Fashion Revue and Judging, Fellowship Hall
4 - 7:00pm: 4-H First General Project Drop-Off, Ag Building

Sunday, July 31, 2022
7:00am: 4-H Rocketry Fly Day; Far East Fair Grounds pasture
8:00am: 4-H Horse Showmanship, Halter, Performance, and Trail Classes in both arenas all day (Small Fry Pony)
9-5pm: Optional Tack check-in for Sheep (sheep only)
10:00am: 4-H Swine Breeding and 4-H Sheep Breeding Shows, Open Pavilion
4 -7:00pm: 4-H LAST General Project Drop-Off, Ag Building
All 4-H General Projects Must Be Dropped Off And Pre-Checked Before 7:00Pm , July 31.

Monday, August 1, 2022
10:30am: 4-H General Project Interview Judging, Ag Building at appointed times
10:30am - 12pm: 4-H Cloverbud Exhibit Interviews, Ag Building, first come, first seen
1:00pm - 7:00pm: Optional Tack check-in for Beef, Swine, & Goat Barns (no security provided)
Sheep Exhibitors Please Take Note, This Is New And A Change From Years Past, Sheep Will Come In On Monday Evening, Plan Accordingly. No Sheep Accepted On Tuesday!
6:30pm: 4-H Horse Gymkhana, Main Arena

7:00am - 11:00am: MANDATORY Check-in and Health Check for 4-H Beef, Dairy, Market Swine, & Market Goats
All 4-H Market Beef, Market Swine, Market Goats And Dairy In By 11:00 A.M.
Health Check available for 4-H Horses if needed
7:00am - 11:00am: Weigh-in for 4-H Market Swine (during check-in process)
9:00am: 4-H Rabbit Show, Exhibit Building
11:30am - 12:30pm: Weigh-in for 4-H Market Goats
1:00pm - 2:00pm: Weigh-in for 4-H Market Beef
2:00pm: Open Class Exhibit set up with volunteers and fair board members
2:30pm: 4-H Livestock Exhibitor Meeting, Mandatory for all exhibitors-Grandstands
Immediately following Exhibitor Meeting - Premiere Market Exhibitor test for Beef, Lambs, Swine, Goats and Rabbits, Main Arena Grandstands
Please designate Market Sale Animals as soon as possible
6:00pm: 4-H Sheep Showmanship, 4-H Market Lamb Show, (Small Fry Lamb Class), Open Pavilion
4:00pm - 6:00pm: Sheep Check-in and Weigh-in ALL MARKET LAMBS MUST BE IN BY 6:00pm

Doors 8:00a.m. – 6:00pm: 4-H General Project Exhibits open for viewing, Ag Building
8:00am: 4-H Ranch Horse Show, Main Arena and Warm-up Arena
12:00 Noon- 3:00pm - Check-in for 4-H Poultry (All birds submit to health check and in by 3:00pm )
Poultry Exhibitors Please Note Change In Check In Time, All Birds Must Submit To Complete Health Check And Be In Place By 3 Pm, No Exceptions.
1:00pm: Judging of Open Class General Exhibits, Ag Building (silent observation of judging allowed) Master Gardeners set up meeting room
2:00pm (tentative) Farm Olympics, Warm-Up Arena
4:00pm: 4-H Beef Fitting Contest, west side of Cattle Barn
Followed by Adult Beef Showmanship Contest, west side of Cattle Barn
6:00pm: 4-H Market Swine Show, Open Pavilion

Thursday, August 4, 2022
8:00am: 4-H Poultry Show, East of Poultry Barn
4-H Senior and Intermediate Poultry Showmanship (Junior Showmanship is on Friday at 8:00 a.m.) Small Fry Poultry Class, Poultry Barn
8:00am - 6:00pm: 4- H and Open Class General Exhibits open for viewing, Ag Building
Master Gardeners Education and Silent Auction, Ag Building Meeting Room
8:30 a.m.– 12:30pm: 4-H Market Sale species pictures taken, Small Pavilion for Swine, Lambs, Goats, and Poultry.
All species (except market beef), if you are selling in the market sale get photographed during this time
Swine have preference, ALL swine pictures must be taken by 11a.m.
10:30am: Master Gardeners Education Presentation – Gardening Issues, Ag Building Meeting Room
10:30am: Senior Citizens’/Veterans’ Events, Fellowship Hall
1:00pm: Deadline for Market Sale pictures (except market beef)
4:00pm: 4-H Market Goat Showmanship, and 4-H Market Goat Show, Open Pavilion
5:00pm: Open Gymkhana sponsored by Elbert County Fair Royalty
6:00pm: Designation Of Sale Animal Due To Office (unless exhibitor has a market beef project) Lambs, Goats, Swine, Poultry, and Rabbits must designate before this time.
6:00pm: Bulls, Broncs, & Buckaroos phone-in entries due only for Bulls and Broncs.
Buckaroos Mutton Bustin’ entries taken on event day only, no preregistration required.

9:00 pm. Fair Concert “Twenty Hands High” Horse Pavilion (no charge)
No Check Out Or Removal of exhibits or animals until 3PM Sunday. - NO EXCEPTIONS given without express, written consent from Extension or Fair Board. Market Animals Sold will be loaded out by Market Sale Committee – Make sure you get your sales information sheet from the fair office in preparation for Sunday check-out.

4:00pm: Trade Show closes: vendors clean up and check-out
5:30pm: Buildings Locked. Any exhibits not picked up are NOT the responsibility of the Fair Board or Extension Office.
