DOC WILKES HOUSE OF HORRORS

Doc Wilkes was always infatuated about the study of “white noise” and what it could do to people... Between 1980 and 1981, Doc Wilkes set up a room that blocked out 99% of all external sound in his basement in Central Ohio and performed “white noise” torture on victims. By doing this he found that nobody can take more than 45 minutes alone in the room before they go insane, and when it's quiet, ears will adapt. The quieter the room, the more things you hear. You'll hear your heart beating; sometimes you can hear your lungs, hear your stomach gurgling loudly. In his basement, you became the sound. Doc Wilkes came to realize that this was a very disorientating experience. Not stopping the madness there, Doc began to do experiments with the victim’s on their brains, hearts, and many other organs. Within the 2 years of Doc’s mad experiments, the local police got involved and finally caught on to the gruesome attacks, and Wilkes was put in the local jail where it is said that he committed 2 more killings before being moved to Granger Asylum in South Texas.

Granger Asylum was the home of over 2000 patients. As Wilkes sat in his 6x10 cubical for almost a decade he began to go even more insane. As years past and the decline of patients in 1991 the entire hospital closed their doors, and had to move their patients to another facility. It is said that on the move the bus Wilkes was being transported in crashed and caught fire… The remains of the people in the bus were unknown… Police and investigators searched the area for possible escapees, but nothing turned up, and the case was closed… Not knowing Wilkes had escaped…

Story has it that Doc Wilkes found the old abandoned trailers on 1228 Market Street, and that is where he died, but his body was never found. Now Doc Wilkes and his victims haunt the land. Local residents have reported hearing screaming and laughing coming from inside the trailers, but Police have been called to the scene and it’s a vacant building on the inside

Legend has it that Wilkes opened his own personal practice hospital there “Doc Wilkes”, and it is only seen by the people HE wants it to be seen by, “the victims.” Over the years Wilkes used his “white noise” theory to perform hundreds of operations and radical experiments on victims in the abandoned building, and it is said that he buried the bodies in the center graveyard, and the victims walk the halls of the building still trying to find their way out. Who will be Doc’s next victim? He’s always looking for fresh meat.

Mine of Mystery

When many people hear the word Voodoo, they often think of dark arts, New Orleans, and something they probably want to avoid. Milroy is no exception to any of this… Oh and He lives in the Mine of Mystery.

Milroy’s background (or stories that have been told.)

Anonymous: “Legend has it that as a young child Milroy was left for dead by his parent’s in the Bayou’s of New Orleans, and this is where he was founded by an old Witch Doctor that taught him all his old practices.”

Anonymous: “When I was in high school, I used to hear that when people would go down the old one way in and same way out dirt road to where it’s said Milroy’s village was located, and once they reached the end of the road they would turn their cars off and hear the chants of witch craft in the woods around them, but couldn't ever make out the language."

Beth N. "I've heard of people going to the old village and after being spooked by the sounds in the woods they would try to turn their car on to leave their cars wouldn’t start leaving them stranded among the voodoo in the bayous.”

Henry H: “I’ve been down the road that the witchcraft took place at supposedly, and never really saw anything, but the sounds and feeling I got was very uneasy. Every time I’d go there I wouldn’t sleep that night, and when I would I’d have dreams of myself hung over a fire with 100’s of witch doctors dancing and chanting around me. VERY SCARY!”

Anonymous: It is said that Milroy reached out to Doc needing out of New Orleans, and wanting to get away from the spirits. Milroy told Doc that he wanted his own space to perform his twisted practices, and by twisted… That’s exactly what they were. Milroy built the maze in Doc’s back yard in hopes of the spirits that he had summoned over the years not to find him. I’ve heard of people going into Milroy’s Maze and not coming out. I’ve also heard when they do enter the maze they have heard voodoo chants, find dead ends with bones of lost souls, and if they are unlucky they see Milroy himself, and are cursed for life with his voodoo witchcraft.

DO YOU DARE ENTER THE MINE OF MYSTERY.... YOU COULD COME ACROSS MILROY HIMSELF. IF SO DON’T COME ALONE… THE ONE’S THAT ENTER WITH FRIENDS OFTEN TIMES ARE THE ONLY TO MAKE IT OUT ALIVE, BUT ONLY CURSED WITH A FEW VOODOO SPELLS!!!
