Corn Contest

FREE!!

Bring your corn entries to the fire station between 3:00 and 5:00.

Winners will be announced at 6:00 during the pancake supper.

Prizes to the top entries in the following categories: Best ear, longest ear, ornamental, and best group of five. Questions? Contact Adam at 712-880-2037.

Kiddie Cook Off

In the alley just west of the fire station. The meat (furnished) needs to be prepared by noon (you may start cooking by 10:30). 510 entry fee (meat and grill will be provided - bring your own seasonings). Prizes for top three chefs.

Here's the chance to let your child (ages 6-12) show off grilling skills (with a little help from an adult)! Limited space! To sign up, contact Billy at 712-840-1170.

Dinner (lunch) - Taverns, Hot

Dogs, Tavern Dogs, Potato Salad

Free Will Donation. 11:00-1:00, Danbury Fire Station bay. Proceeds will benefit Danbury United Methodist Church.

Cruise-In

FREE!!!

11:30 - 3:30, Main Street. We invite entries to also join the 4:00 parade - line up in the park.

Bring anything on wheels and show them off to other vehicle lovers - cars, trucks, tractors, semis (no trailers), bikes, etc. FIRST 100 RECEIVE A DASH PLAQUE.

Home Brew Beer Contest

Noon - 3:00. Intersection of 2nd and Main Streets.

Prizes for the top entries! WINNING BREW IS INVITED TO FARMHAND TO BREW THEIR BEER THERE!

$10 gets you a sample glass to try all the available home brews.

Pedal Tractor Pull for kids and adults

Main Street. Sign up begins at 11:30. Pedal tractor pull begins at noon. TOP PRIZES FOR EACH AGE GROUP. Questions? Contact Irvin at 712-880-2874.

3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

Intersection of Main and 2nd Street. Registration begins at 11:30. Tournament begins at noon. Boys and girls play separately; 5/6 division, 7/8 division and high school division.

Teams of 3-5 players. $10 per player. To sign up, contact Derek at 712-840-1171.

Older Kiddie (and adult) Cook Off-13 and older

In the alley just west of the fire station. The meat (furnished) needs to be prepared by 2:00 (challenge will be given as soon as the kiddie cook off results and royalty are crowned).

$10 entry fee (meat and grill will be provided - bring anything you think you might want to add to your mystery protein). There will be a special challenge added to this cook off! Prizes for top three chefs. Limited space! To sign up, contact Lynn at 712-840-0327.

Corn Hole Tournament

Second Street by the fire station. Registration begins at

11:30. Tournament begins at noon. ONLY 40 teams may play (age middle school and older).

$20 per team. To sign up, contact Dean at 712-840-9860. Proceeds benefit the Danbury Firefighters Association.

Snack Time!

Kiddie parade line up at 3:30 at the corner of Fourth and Main Streets. Limited decorations will be available if kids want to decorate bikes.

Grand parade line up at 3:00 at the city park. Use the Second Street entrance.

10:00 a.m. on the church or Danbury Catholic School Grounds. Yes, this does fulfill the obligation to attend Mass. BRING A CHAIR OR BLANKET!!! Please

note: There will also be Mass in church at 5:00 on Saturday.

Danbury Catholic s 31st Annual BBQ/Auction

Meal including ribeye steak sandwiches, chicken breast, brats, and pulled pork begins at 11:00.

Auction begins at noon. Bake sale all day. Want to donate to the auction or bake sale?
