PROVIDENCE, RI – Acknowledging?the importance of consistent attendance?in education?and?in alignment with the #AttendanceMatters campaign, Governor Dan?McKee?and?Commissioner?Angélica?Infante-Green?are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle,?and?high?schools?with the greatest average?weekly attendance.

The following?schools?are Rhode Island’s attendance?leaders?for the week of April 22, 2024*: 

  • Elementary: Wyman Elementary School, Warwick – 95.4% 
  • Middle: North Smithfield Middle School – 98%
  • High: North Smithfield High School – 95.7%

Attendance improvement leaders will return next week as a result of the April break. The?Governor?and?Commissioner?express their gratitude?and?encouragement to all?schools?in Rhode Island for their ongoing efforts to prioritize attendance?and reinforce the value of consistent learning experiences for all students.
