Shepherds Ford Productions has produced 25 family friendly music festivals since 2004. We welcome you back for 2022 and look forward to sharing another great year! We are back in the saddle and excited to be hosting the 18th annual Fest at the Clarke County Fairgrounds in 2022.

Kids Activities: Picture Scavenger Hunt – All Weekend Long!

Join in the fun of exploring the festival by following the clues! Add your festive, fun, and funny photos to our digital scavenger hunt. Hop online and check out the fantastic festival memories others have shared. Pick up your passport for memories and fun! Kids 10 and under will use their Watermelon Picker’s Fest passport to explore the festival. Finish your passport and be entered in a drawing to win a prize! (Passports can be picked up at the merch tent.

8:00am-4:00 pm: Showers are open for patrons across the street at the Pool.

10:00am-11:00am: Yoga with Anna Billman, Pick-Nick Shelter.

11:00-Noon: Slow Jam with Mike Ward, Pick-Nick Shelter.

11:30 am-12:15 pm: Flatfoot Dance Workshop with Jan Scopel,?Pick-nic Shelter

12:30-1:30 pm:  Family Dance with Kim Forry, Show Barn. Music by The Wildmans.

2:00pm-3:00 pm: Recycled Instruments/ Masks Part 1, Kids Barn.
Katie Priest & Stacey Rae Sinclair will help kids of all ages prepare for the parade on Saturday by making a fun mardi gras style mask or home-made instrument. Bring your favorite recyclables and craft materials for your creations, or add some flair with supplies to share!

2:00-3:00 pm: June and the Jets, Show Barn.

3:00pm-4:00pm: Parachutes and Pinatas, Kids Barn.
Come join Katie Priest for Parachutes & Pinatas, we will play games with a giant, colorful parachute followed by our annual watermelon pinata! Fun for kids of all ages

Join Stacey Rae Sinclair for fun and interactive songs, games, and movement activities. Perfect for our youngest festival-goers and their grownups. Bring your joyful singing voice and get ready for some fun.

10:30-11:30: Slow Jam with Mike Ward, Show Barn.

11:00am-12 noon: Kids: Creative T-shirts, Kids Barn.
Continue the Watermelon tradition! Create Watermelon-themed Sharpie tie-dyed shirts with Stacey Sinclair and Katie Priest. Bring a white or light-colored tee shirt and make a work of art fit for the Fest.

12:00-1:00pm: Recycled instruments / Masks Part 2, Kids Barn.

12:30 pm-2:00 pm: Band and Instrument Contests, hosted by Tara Linhardt, Show barn.

1:30-2:30 pm: Memorial Jam for Graham Dezarn, Pic-Nic- Shelter.
