Director: Stig Wemyss
Losing a loved one after 60 years of marriage is never easy and for Terry Carmichael, letting go is not an option. After Dulcie’s death, he disappears into his man-cave and proceeds to embark on the ancient process of mummifying his dead wife’s body in an attempt to immortalize her forever. When Terry’s stoner grandson Brad discovers what the old man is up to, he knows they must keep it a secret or risk the full wrath of the law. Mummy’s the word. They lock the mummified body in the man-cave, with a view to dispose of it porperly in the morning. However, during the night, the shed is broken into and Grandma is stolen. Mummy-nappers! The two men embark on a crusade to unearth the thieves, retrieve Nana’s body and somehow find a way to reconcile the pain of losing a lifetime of love. Death is a part of life…you never know when it might sneak up on you.
